Synopsis:

Isabella Swan aka Bella (Kristen Stewart) moves from Arizona to a small city of Forks, and should live with his father, Charlie (Billy Burke) since her mother and her new husband are on a road trip. Bella captures guy's eyes on her first day at school, Mike newton is one of them, trying to get close to Bella but always being pushed away. Meeting The Cullens for the first time, Bella eyes are captured by Edward (Robert Pattinson), the gorgeus and mysterious guy. The first meeting leads to the other, in biology class, Bella sits next to Edward, but the boy's reaction is annoying. Edward seems very sick to see her and keeps his nose closed as tough smelling something gross, he left at once when the bell rings. Knowing that Edward is asking to change his class after the incident, strengthened Bella decision to confront him.
After days of dissapearence, Edward suddenly changed. He talks nicely to Bella during biology class and confused Bella. He even saves Bella which almost crashed by a slipped car, Bella is shocked to see that Edward moves very fast and stop the car with his bare hand.
On La Push trip Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) shows up and tell Bella about the old legend of werewolf. The curious girl is trying to know more, while shopping with her girlfriends, Bella meets a group of scums and out of nowhere, Edward shows up and save her. Having their first dinner together (and Edward eats nothing), Edward confess that he can read minds and the only thing he can't read is Bella's mind.
Bella confronts Edwards the next morning, after read the legend book, now she's aware that Edward is a vampire. But unlike other vampire, Edward and his family only drink animal blood and they consider themselves as "vegetarians". He moves very fast and strong. Edward also shows Bella why he avoids sun, by the time sun beam spot his pale skin, Edward is shinning like tons of diamonds. He said Bella's blood is very seductive, almost like a cocaine. And the fact that now he can not be parted from Bella is torching.
Edward introduces Bella to his family and surpraisingly everybody except Rosalie, welcome her, tough the children looks very hard to avoid Bella's seductive blood scent. Meanwhile people are died in the small city, and they have animal bite mark. Other vampires are in the town and they have spotted Bella. Now Edward and his family should save Bella from them

Comments:

This is the best movie i have seen this year ^_^. Not to mention that i always like drama, but though the movie supposed to be a teen movie, i still like it a lot. Two things i i love the most, they great story line and the amazing scenery ^_^. I really like the setting, the green forest, the glass house where The cullens live, and the sparkling Edward. They all gorgeous!
I don't like Robert Pattinson, and i hardly remember him as Cedric Gregory. But when he played Edward Cullen, he seems perfect tough i still not interested to him he he. What i can imagine of Edward Cullen is him, with his pale skin and his somehow strange face.
It's just perfect, a perfect love story and well...i don't have anything better to describe it, just go ahead and watch! I should find the books now

Fun facts:

• Henry Cavill was the author first choice to play Edward. However, but by the time production was to begin, he was 25 years old, and no longer looked the part of a 17-year old. (too bad, he's gorgeous ^_^)
• All of the actors playing the Cullens wear topaz-colored contacts.
• Over 5,000 actors auditioned for the role of Edward
• The actors who played vampires needed to be pale, so it was written into their contracts that they had to stay out of the sun.

Sorry, i really felt reluctant to continue posting it. Gosh, i need a week to finish this posting T_T.
At first i thought this movie was about saving the earth. The brave, heroic action like what you see in independent day, deep impact, or armageddon. But it was not and i was upset. How can some aliens decided not to destroy the earth just by looking at 2 persons? Well, that was just to easy. No conflict, no action, nothing huge apart from that blue amazing sphere. And compared to Matrix? A, a, way beneath (sigh)

Synopsis:

Bu Mus (Cut Mini) and Pak Harfan (Ikranagara) are waiting anxiously for the 10th student in their poor school of SD Muhammadiyah. There are only 9 students registering, and they should have 10 students or the school is closed. A special student called Harun suddenly appear like magic and saving the school from a closure.

The ten students are studying passionately, regarding lacknesses they should face. And once the students are in action, they win best performance which is beyond anybody expectation and wipe all prominent schools in "Cerdas Cermat" math and science competition.

Ok, i tell you the truth i'm a big fans of Andrea Hirata's book (and i almost become his crazy fans, oh Lord please help me T_T). So it's not weird if i went to cinema instantly once i heard the movie was on air. Well, not that instantly but i was there, and this was one of my biggest achievement ho ho, too much, i know. Laskar Pelangi was my first Indonesian movie to watch this year, and as a matter a fact, this was the second i've seen in my entire life ha ha, surpraised? That's true, my first was Ada Apa Dengan Cinta, that was the time when i became very curious to that popular Indonesian film. And after that? Nothing else. I saw few Indonesian movies, but i watched them on TV, i did dont feel bother to rush to theater to see ^_^, don't blame me, not too many good Indonesian Movie, but Laskar Pelangi was quite Ok. I think Denias was better to watch but Laskar Pelangi was not that bad either. The book is better, maybe Riri should prolong the movie duration, so the book will nicely filmed ^_^. But anyway, it worth to see, once again not that i'm the big fans, but it's a nice movie ^_^

Fun facts:

• I have to wait 3 weeks to avoid the crowd, but i still couldn't avoid it T_T

HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY

Rating : Better than the first, i like it!

Synopsis:

At 1955, young Hellboy (Ron Perlman) is asking his father a bedtime story. Prof. Bruttenholm tells him a a legend, a war between human and mystic world. King Balor, leader of the elves, creates golden army, 70 times magical 70 times mechanical, and he owns a crown which who ever use it, will be able to rule the golden army. The Army destroy the humans, but only lead to the king regression. King Balor divides his crown into three parts, one for him, one for the humans and one is taken by her daughter, one of the twins, Princess Nuala.(Anna Walton) .King Balor's son, Prince Nuada (Luke Goss) is unsatisfied, he doesn't believe in humans and insists to raise the golden army again. The two are quarelled and angry Prince Nuada leaves the kingdom.

At the Bureau of Paranormal research and defense, Agent Tom Manning is meeting Abe (Doug Jones), he's angry because Hellboy keep showing himself to public and their organization suppose to be a secret. Abe explains that Hellboy's relation with Liz (Selma Blair) is tensed, which probably the reason of his erratic behavior. An emergency alarm rings, they are asked to investigate incident in auction house.


At first the place seems to be very quiet, while searching Abe accidentally touch Liz' tummy and said that she is pregnant, but Liz ignores it and keep look around. Suddenly thousands of flying creatures, called "tooth fairy" attack the team. They eat human flesh in seconds.Liz blows her fire to burn the flying creatures and explodes the floor, blows Hellboy out of the building and when he lands on a car, he lets himself exposed, and people astonished.
Meanwhile Prince Nuada come to his father kingdom and after conquering the army, he manages to kill his father and take the second part of the crown, equips the first part which he took from humans in the auction house. Prince Nuada run after his twin sister, Nuala, whom bring the last part of the crown.

Back at the bureau, a new agent called Johann Krauss (James Dodd) is coming. A weird smokey creature in an old swimsuit. Krauss investigate one of the tooth fairy, he awakening the death creature with his pure ectoplasm energy. Krauss realizes that the creatures came from the legendary Troll Market, a gathering place for magical creatures. Rumors suggest that the Troll Market might be located under the Brooklyn Bridge so Krauss takes the team to search for it.

Spliting, Abe finally find Princess Nuala, and realize that they share the same power, in reading and feeling by hand touching. A huge troll, Prince Nuada follower, brust in and run after Nuala. Hellboy manages to rescue the two, but Nuada appears and said that no matter how hard Hellboy help mankind, they still will hate him because he's different. And all he said comes to reality, after beating a green leavy monster, police try to catch Hellboy and Liz must stand to defend him.

Being brought to the bureau, Abe and Princess Nuada get to know each other closer. It won't be long before Nuada finds out his sister and kidnaps her. While trying to fight him, Hellboy is stabbed with the prince's spear. Everytime the spear is touched, it will move closer toward his heart. Will he survive?

Comments:

I think this second movie is way better than the first. More mythical creatures and great costumes. Though their faces were not as beutiful as fairy tales i knew, but they were just great ^_^. Not too much comments, i like it. You should try to see

DRUPADI AND LASKAR PELANGI THE MOVIE

Stumbled on today's newspaper, i read an article of Drupadi controvercy.
A man from World Hindu Organization (i don't remember exactly T_T) said that some parts of the movie were incorrect and against their belief which state in Hindu's holy book, Weda (Thanks Ryan ^_^). Apart from the growling in the movie, i think this movie will be my next agenda. Not that i want to know what is being controversed or not that i am an art lover, it's simply because Nicholas Saputra played on it he he he. I love him, i saw most of his movie (except 3 hari untuk selamanya, i missed that T_T), and i love them, my favorite was Janji Joni, love that!

The second wish list is probably Laskar Pelangi, i love the books and hopefully will like the movie. And i wonder how will it be? When i see those two movies, i think that will be my first and second Indonesian's movie i see and probably the last in this year hi hi.

THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR

Title : The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor

Synopsis:

The story begins at Emperor Han (Jet Li)'s era, an ambitious man that dreams to conquer neighborhood countries and unite them in his authority. One thing the emperor afraid is being old and die. He learns to control 5 elements and always find ways to be immortal. One day, he heard about a powerful shaman called Zi Juan (Michelle Yeoh), the emperor asks his loyal general, Ming (Russell Wong) to bring the shaman to him. General Ming never expects to find a beautiful shaman and he falls in love at once. Zi Juan said she doesn't know any cure to make somebody immortal, but she said she knows shere to find it. Emperor Han order General Ming to escort Zi Juan and warn him not to let anybody touch Zi Juan because he wants her.
General Ming and Zi Juan find the book and involve in intimacy relationship. Once the two get back to the palace, Emperor Han asks Zi Juan to cast the spell written in sanskrit. The emperor soon feels different, he force Zi Juan to marry him or else he will kill General Ming. Zi Juan agrees to marry him but the emperor is still ordering to kill the general and stabs Zi Juan. Once stabbing, the emperor is frozen to earth statue along all of his shouldiers and palace due to Zi Juan curse.

The third sequel of The Mummy where Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and his wive Eve O'Connell (Maria Bello) have already retire from their adventure voyage. Rick is desperately try to find a new hobby which not included guns and Eve has become a popular writer. The O'Connells life in a big manor and have prosperous and peaceful life, and even none of them admits to feel bored to death.
Meanwhile the couple only child, Alex (Luke Ford) is described as a rebellious young guy and has an awkward relationship with his father. Rather than attending school, Alex is dumped off in china and is trying to dig Emperor Han's tomb. Somebody tries to killbut he manages to release himself.
A guy from foreign affairs comes and ask The O'connell to bring the eye of shangrila, a giant blue diamond to shanghai. The couple accidently meet Alex at The Pharoh, night club owned by Jonathan (John Hannah), whom entangled in trouble due to flirt Mad Dog (Liam Cunningham) girl. Rick saves his son on the mess but their relation is worsened.
Before showing his invention to public, Alex invites his parents to see the statues. General Yang (Anthony Wong), who eagerly wants to raise Emperor Han from his death and once again rule China. The shangrila eye can only be opened with the blood of a pure heart, Yang pushes Eve and said will kill her husband if she refuses. The diamond is opened and accidently splashes on a statue, the emperor is back to life.
The O' Connells once again should work together to prevent the emperor from immortality source which will arise his thousands of shouldier to conquer the world.

Comments:

Finally i decided to see the movie. And i did not regret it ^_^. I think the movie was great, i like the story line and also their great effect. Great! But one think i regreted, i disagree with the cast, i think Rachel Weiss was the best Evelyn O'Connell, and it was a big loss not to see her on the film. The son, Alex, played by Luko Ford, was also too old. He almost the same old with his "father" Brendan Frasher, and for me definitely weird! And the film should be longer since parts when Jet i transformed to evil monster seemed a bit too much. When you erase that part, the film won't change, much more like a post it, stick on the film with no effect. They should develop that frame, since the monster just appeared and disappeared and did nothing.

Fun Facts:

• It took days for me to finish the review since i saw the movie on Monday T_T
• The tomb of the Dragon Emperor with its Terracotta warriors is inspired by the real-life tomb of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty. The mausoleum is located in Xi'an, China.
• In the Himalayas, a shot of a running soldier's foot clearly shows sand, not snow.
• General Yang's soldiers are outfitted with AK-47s, but the movie is set in 1947. AK-47s weren't pressed into service until 1949.

Finally, after a long watching blue (again, hiksss). I beat my laziness and saw another movie ^_^. Well, honestly, not completely watching blue, i have another passion lately, swimming and that's make me always skip movie date and left me exhausted, so i have no more lust to watch any movie.

Last tueasday, i watched Wall - E, i'll post to you the review soon. Quite entertaining and a good movie for your children. But what i want to share is (deep breath) for the second time, i was sitting beside 2 gays!! MasyaAllah, please deh! And to make things worse, they both gorgeous!! Arrrgggghhhhh!!!!!! What the hell with all the ladies? Why they prefer boys than girls? Ck ck ck
They were holding hand and fed each other. My my..wasn't it a real heartbreaking? I saw more and more gays everyday T_T

WALL - E

Synopsis:

In the 22nd century, a megacorporation called BnL (buy n large) rules every aspects on earth, including government. They sponsored 5 years exodus from polluted earth and offers a full automatic robot crews and left units of disposal robots, Wall - E, to clean the earth. After hundreds of years, there is only one small disposal robot left. Everyday, Wall - E and his cocroach pet will gather cans and squared them than stack them in to giant skycrapers, then he will go back to his "home" and play old musics and video, where people sing and dance. One day, Wall - E finds a plant in an old ragged boot. Soon after a huge space craft landedand deploys a beautiful white robot called Eve. Wall - E falls in love at the first sight and quietly following Eve. Once he has the opportunity to get closer to Eve, Wall-E shows her his sactuary, his musics and dancing video and gives her the plant as a present. Eve suddenly freezes after taking the plant inside of her. Wall E tries to wake he up, but it's all useless. The space craft once again landed, retrived Eve. Wall - E races and cling on the outer hull.
The space craft is entering a giant space craft where all survival people of earth stays for 700 years. Eve tries to present the plant to McCrea, the captaint, to place in the ship's holo-detector—a device which will activate an automatic hyperjump to Earth once it scans the plant—only to find it is missing. Eve presumably broken and sent to broken robots divison. Mc Crea sees Wall - E and the robot shake his hand, introduce himself before run after Eve. Mc Crea touches dirt for the first time. He tries to find out what it is and become enthusiastic to find more about the earth. Mc Crea orders auto to finds the plant and go back to earth, but auto refuses his order and shows him the original plan, earth has been very polluted so no body can live on it. Mc Crea insists, since the message was sent 700 years ago and he thinks things will be different nowadays. Auto refuses Mc Crea suggestions and takes over the plane.
Meanwhile, Wall - E following Eve to repairement department, and they cause trouble and release all broken robots. Warning of broken robots escapes is spread out, other robots are trying to catch them. Eve and Wall - E are fugitive now, and they still have yo find the missing plant and accomplished Eve mission.

Comments:

This is a very simple cartoon movie. Quite touching and not to many violent actions so i think it's safe for children. I like the pictures and the old songs. Moreover, you can learn a lot from this film. Wall - E shows unconditional love, big socializer, and a very good friend.
Seeing the movie, i realize, maybe it was right. In the future, all things will be a lot easier, robots will do most of our dailt chores and what people can do is just sitting and do nothing. They shows exactly what people like in the future, anti social (i'm afraid i'll be one of them T_T) and over weight since they don't have to do nothing. Mc Crea even has to try hard to walk since he never move his body. A very good lesson i think ^_^

• The cockroach chirps were created by speeding up the sounds of a raccoon.

ESCAPE FROM HUANG SHI

Synopsis:

The story is based on a true story of a young British reporter, George Hogg (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) during Japan invasion in China, around 1937.
While covering news silently in Nanjing, George accidently finds out Japanese soldiers brutality, they gather boys and men in a big group then shoot them dead. Unfortunately, before leaving Nanjing, Japanese soldier caught him and seeing his photograps of mass slaughtery, the Japanese bring George to the field and prepare to cut down his neck with a sword. Within a minute before the sword touches his neck, somebody shoots the japanese and rescues George. Soon George realizes, the group of person rescue him, is China's communist army, leadered by a guy called Chen Han Sheng or Jack Chen (Yun-Fat Chow). Jack escorts George to reunite with his two friends Eddie Wei and Andy Fisher when he enters Nanjing. Find the two guys, George sees his friends shot in front him, and they begin to shot George and Jack.
Wakes up wounded, George meets Lee Pearson (Radha Mitchell) a doctor which suggest him to go to Huang Shi, where he can learn chinesse as his tools to cover news in the front line.
George ends up in an neglected orphanage of 60 boys. They throw stones to welcome him and one of the child, Shi Kai accepts letter written by Jack Chen and tear it. George is not welcome there, the children also wake him up in the middle of the night and beat him. Lee shows up and stop them. The children obey her since she is a doctor and they need her. Trying to show how to eradicate fleas, Lee uses George as her model, pour some talc to show that it won't harm anybody. The wild children bring so much trouble to George, especially Shi Kai whom always do anything to get rid of him, so he decides to leave the orphanage. Lee finds out and assured him that he only has no option but to stay and take care of the children.
Long after, George realizes he has no where but the place. He starts to clean the place, covers holes with papers, fixes generators so they will have an electricity. Courious children then starts to help him, with the help of Mrs. Wang (Michelle Yeoh) George buy some seeds and plants them, he also make a ball ring for the children to play basket ball. Soon the orphanage is changing better. The children are civilized and clean, they become a happy children during the bad time. One day, nationalist army come and ask the place to become their military base. George says no. Once the nationalists find out that it's a boy orphanage, George realize that they wants the boys to join the army. To avoid this, they should leave Huang Shi and go to Shandan near Gobi Dessert where no body wants to go there.

Comments:

One thing i notice at once, Jonathan Rhys Meyers is a male version of Uma Thurman ^_^ hi hi, they're alike aren't they?
Ok, back to the movie, the movie was reminded me of The Painted Veil, maybe because the setting was also in China and there was also disease epidemic. I bet the audience of the movie think that this is a war movie, and it's about escaping from a great battle. I thought so, and not completely wrong, but this is not a war movie, the point is just to save the children to safer place, the war was just an addition. This movie also touching and brave, and at the end of the movie, you'll se the survivor children which said that George Hogg was their savior and because of them, they live.

Synopsis:

The movie is open with Mr. X meeting with a ballastic specialist and aske her to find who made the bullet he gave, for their opponent. Their conversation is interrupted with gunshots from snipers accross the building. Mr. X jumps and shoots all the snipers. But he was killed from a distance.
The scene than move to Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy), an ordinary guy who works in ordinary company. Almost has pathetic life, and always feel underpressure because his fussy bos, and has nerve disease due to his severe anxiety. Gibson's life is changing completely when he meets Fox (Angelina Jolie), whom tell him that she knew his father, and said that his father is one of the greatest assasins and has died yesterday. Gibson which barely knew his father since he left him while he's just a toddler, thinks that Fox is misknown him with someone else. Suddenly, Fox grab him down and Gibson hears shootings. Someone is trying to kill them. Gibson manage to escape from the shooting battle and run away to the street, the shooter is almost catch him but before, Fox manages to save him. Soon they enter a wild car battle and succeed to leave the shooter.
Gibson wakes up in a place he doesn't know and meet Sloan (Morgan Freeman). He tells him about the fraternity of assasins and said his father also one of their members. Gibson also told that his anxiety is not a disease and it's the great talents inherrited from his father. Sloan also said that all Gibson Sr properties is now belong to him. Gibson refuses to believe and try to leave, but Sloan pushes him to shoot flies wings with a gun. Amazingly, Gibson is succed to shoot off all the flies wings.
Wakes up in the morning, Gibson feels that all things happen is just a dream. But while he's in the bath room, he finds a gun that Sloan said belongs to his late father. Gibson runs to atm and found his account now filled with more than 3 million dollar. Start the day with a happy face, Gibson goes to work. His pussy manager yells at him and said that he hasn't gave her report she wanted. Unable to bear it, Gibson yells at her back and mocks her in front of his surpraised colleauges. Gibson leaves his shocked boss and brings his keyboard, while passing his friend, Barry whom sleep with his girlfriend, he slammed the keyboard to his face.
Gibson goes to Sloan and tell him that he's ready to replace his father and revenge to his murder, Cross. Sloan gives Gibson to Fox, where he is trainned to be an assasins. The hard training almost made Gibson quit, but his father memories strengthened him and finally, he's ready for his first assasination. Sloan takes him to the loom of fate, a loom that will gives them targets names through binary code hidden in the threads. Gibson fails to perform his first task, he can't just kill somebody that he doesn't even knew. Fox tells him a story of a little girl whose father is a judge, and one day a killer came to their house, pointed his gun to the girl and asked he r to wave at her dad as if nothing happened. The killer burned the father in front of his daughter and carved his initial to the girl's neck. Fox said that the killer name is shown up several days before and a member of fraternity was failed to kill him. Gibson than finds out that the little girl is Fox. Gibson finishes his first task.
While coming back to his apartment to take his father gun, Gibson is almost shot. He run after his shooter and accidently killed one of the fraternity mamber. Sloan is finally gives him task to kill Cross. Gibson doesn't realize that Fox's next task is to kill him.
Gibson and Fox travel to Europe to find the bullet maker, Pekwarsky, and they come to the origin place of fraternity. Pekwarsky, under a gun point, agrees to help them arrange meeting with Cross. But before it happens, he runs away. Both Fox and Gibson are chasing, but Gibson suddenly feels that Cross is in the train. He jumps in to the train and cause a big chaos. Fox uses a car to chase the train and shoots Cross while Gibson jostling. She then throws the car in the running train. A man pull hand brake while the train is on the bridge, and caused it's bended and thrown off the railways. Cross grabs Gibson hand, but furious Gibson shoot him. Cross pulls Gibson and befor his last breath he said that Gibson is his son.

Well, as a movie, wanted is good. They have great special effects and awesome stunts. But killing shouldn't be that easy. You really can't take people life because a loomp of thread said so. That's definitely out of question! Irrationable, bloody, and cool. That's are my comments.

Synopsis:

The story begins with robbery of mafia bank by bunch of clowns. They enter the bank put everybody in hostage and start to kill anybody troubling their act, and that's including kill their own friends in a group, and left The Joker (Heath Ledger) alone to have all the money. In the same night few Batman impersonators interrupt a meeting between mobsters and the scarecrow, the real Batman shows up and subdue everyone. And being attacked by mafia's dogs made Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) asked Fox (Morgan Freeman) a new suit.
Meanwhile district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) and his girlfriend, Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal) which also Bruce Wayne ex girl friend, are in the court room, on an attempt to put one big mafia , Salvatore Maroni (Eric Roberts) to jail. The trial was not a big succes and Maroni walk out without any sanction.
The mafia bosses meet to discuss how to handle Batman, Gordon, and Dent, while a Chinese mafia accountant, Lau, lets the gang leaders know he has taken their money to Hong Kong to prevent the police and the district attorney from seizing it in an imminent bank raid.
Joker shows up in mafia's meeting and tell them that they will need him to protect their money and assured them that he is the only hope they have since Lau will be caught no matter what, and when it's happen no one can help them but him. Batman and Lt James Gordon contemplate bringing new district attorney Harvey Dent in on their plan to eradicate the mafia, and the possibility that Dent will become the hero to the people that Batman cannot be. Batman manages to abduct Lau from his Hongkong office and bring him to Lt. Gordon (Gary Oldman) prison. This lead to succesful agreement of The Joker and mafia bosses since after Lau's captured police have seized almost all mafia in town, hundreds of mobs are captured and trialled.
Joker sends a video message and asks Batman to reveal himself, he will start killing people until Batman open his mask in public. The judge and Commisioner Loeb are killed, Harvey Dent also in the kill list, but before the Joker reaches him in Wayne party, Batman saves Dent and urge him to held a press conference and Batman will reveal himself to public to stop another killing. Dent calls Rachel after Batman rescues him and ask her to go somewhere else safe, Rachel said that the safest place is Wayne mansion, and there she goes.
In the press conference, Dent admits that he is Batman before Bruce steps up and confess. Dent is arrested and bought to county jail, but Joker is trying to kill him on his way, the real Batman shows up and intervene, Joker is caught. While Joker is interrogated, Batman realized that Joker has Rachel and Dent as hostages. They are placed in opposites place in town with tons of bombs. Batman is rushed to save Rachel and Lt. Gordon go to other direction to save Dent. They just don't realize that Joker has switched the locations, Batman saves Dent tough half oh his left face is burnt, but Dent is refused to be saved and wants Batman to save Rachel. Seconds before Lt. Gordon reached Rachel's place, the bomb's explodes, Rachel is killed.
Dent refuses to have skin transplantation an let his left face burnt, the loss makes him blame Batman, Gordon, and Joker. Joker saves Dent before he explodes the hospital, and assured him to revenge on Batman, cops, and the mobs. Dent then confronts corrupt cops and mafias, and decides their fate by flipping a coin, pushing Det. Ramirez, Dean has Lt. Gordon's family as his hostage. Joker, in the other hand declares that he will rule and anyone stay in Gotham at nightfall will be subject to his rule. People start evacuate themself, they use ferries since Joker said he will explodes bridges. One ferry is filled with prisoners and other is filled with innocent citizens. Joker sends them package of detonators, and told them if they want to stay alive, they should blow the other ferry. The tense is culminate, Batman should save both ferries, facing Joker and Two Face. Can he manage it?

Comments:

I literally felt hardly to breath while seeing the movie. Tenses were everywhere, and you would not find space to take a deep breath he he, i'm not joking. This is the darkest and the best Batman movie i've ever seen. Heath played as psycho Joker wonderfully, as a matter a fact even better than one played by jack Nicholson. Joker was completely lunatic! He is really frightening and creepy hiksss... The movie duration was about 2.5 hours, long but not even boring. Everybody played their parts wonderfully, i really like the movie, and you should try to see it. Awesome! But make sure no children allowed, they have so many dangerous and harsh scenes, you will not want your children to see or even imitate those, believe me, this movie definitely not for children!
Oh ya, and please! KEEP YOUR FEET DOWN!!! You don't know how annoying when people trembling their feet on someone else seat! I felt it, and i hate that!

Batman!!!!! Here I come!!!!! ^_^

Jingkrak-jingkrak! ^_^

Ho ho akhirnyaaaaa, dapet juga tiket premiere nonton Batman! hi hi, dengan perjuangan yang begitu susyeh, tapi untunglah memiliki bos yang pengertian hue he he he. Pas minta izin buat beli tiket, dibilang boleh, haduuuh senengnya ^_^.

Begitu sampai TP langsung tanpa lihat kanan-kiri lari ke XXI, hueeeeeh udah antreeee!! *_* MasyaAllah, orang-orang itu pada ngantri jam berapa??? Pertunjukan jam 6 sore wes sold out, halah-halah kok ya pada up to date semua itu orang-orang se-Surabaya (geleng-geleng). Akhirnya dapat tiket di show terakhir jam 20.15 hikss, and you know itu mah wes nyaris penuh, sudah lebih 60% tempat duduknya terisi, tinggal bagian depan dan satu dua di tengah seng posisinya nyelempit2, hiyaaaaaaah!!!! Untungnya eykeh sorangan wae ha ha nasib-nasib, tapi dapet juga itu tiket. Oh ya, saya datang ke XXI itu jam 12 siang ya, kalau kalian masih berniat datang sore ini, lebih bijak kalau dibatalkan, sudah pasti sold out soale, apalagi ada promosi gratis tiket untuk pelanggan sebuah kartu kredit T_T ini nih yang bikin senewen, mbok ya jangan pas premiere gitu lho lek gratisan hiksss...

Anyway ^_^, i can't wait to see the movie, and i'll post my review next Monday. Have a nice weekend! La la la la la la

Today, accidently i found one great movie blog, i'll tell you latter and show it in my favorite links as soon as i have the owner permit to link to his ^_^.

His Blog is definitely good and original, and i completely agree that one should begin his/her blog with his/her pasion for movies. I love films and i definitely enjoy entering the cinema, he he the feeling is really undescribable, ho ho maybe sounds too much but that's exactly what i feel.
I just hope, at least i can give some big picture of the movie, and that will be all yours to like it or not ^_^, just like this good blog said, film is very subjective, i may be like it but you don't ^_^

I will keep write what i see and what i feel ^_^

The Dark Knight, Wanted, n 'That Will Smith movies'

Hiyaaaaaaah!!!!!

After several days of watching blue (hi hi i love this term ^_^) finally i have my movie spirit back, wa ha ha ha ha ha, i can't wait to see the dark knight premiere tomorrow, and hopefully i can have the ticket hi hi (i must ask somebody to buy me a ticket geee.....). Only yesterday i was realized that The dDark Knight is the phenomenal film and last film of the great Heath Ledger.
Honestly, i never be his fans but his tragic death and all excellent movie comments was tickling my nerve. I really want to see the movie, even i know Heath appereance will probably make me scared he he, what a chicken, but his make up was really spooky hikss. Somebody alive with the make up will definitely scary, imagine if that would be dead people! Hikssss.....

Wanted is also my agenda for a very long time, but things happened and i can not see it at the first place. Ok than, i'll catch for those two. Errr...Will Smith? It will probably later on to see. By the way, why can i write the tittle without blogger cencored it? Geeee, i'm not the one invented the movie title, sigh.

Watching Blue hiksss..

I used join in cooking milis and they said to have baking blue when they lost cooking lust or baking lust. Now, i have watching blue *_*, hikss i feel very reluctant to go for a movie.
This is perhaps my life is completely normal so i don't need a hideaway ho ho ^_^

Well, this can't happen. I love watching movies, so why should i felt blue.
Anyway, i still have another movie to post next week. This is friday, and tomorrow is holiday ^_^ Happy weekend everybody

JUNE: INDEPENDENCE DAY

He he, i completely forget to update my Jadul of The Month category ^_^. For June Jadul of The Month, i choose Independence Day!!

After watched the movie yesterday, i think this is the perfect film for Jadul of The Month ^_^.
Why i love the movie? Because i really love it! He he he, i saw the movie like 5 times and i still love it!

The story is about alien invasion a few days before US independence day. Starting with the receiption of weird sound in SETI transmittor, Mexico. Then one massive unidentified space entering earth's atmosphere with in hours. People welcome this aliens but they in the other hand, start to attack. And the rest is all about human effort to strike back.

The effect was just amazing and when you see it in a bigger screen, it looks like..wow! One of my favorite movie ever, love it! ^_^

THE EYE

Synopsis:

Being blind since 5 years old never stop Sydney Wells (Jessica Alba) become a well known classic violinist. She has a perfect and happy life in her darkness. One day she has the opportunity to have cornea transplantation. The operation is succesfull, Sydney also make a new friend named Alicia, a girl with cancer in her head. Finally doctor is gonna lift her bandages, nervous Sydney is accompanied with her sister Helen (Parker Posey) which is more nervous than her sister. The bandages are removed, but Sydney sight isn't getting better since she only see blur images. The doctor said Sydney's operation is a great success, and he recommend her to another doctor for her vision problem. While spend the night in the hospital, Sydney is awake because of a weird noise beside her bed, she hears somebody is asking Mrs. Hillman (the patient beside her) to go but she refuses. With her blured vision, Sydney sees Mrs. Hillman wakes up. Her curiosity leads Sydney to wake up from her bed and find Mrs. Hillman. No body in the hospital ally, Sydney is trying hard to see what is going on, she sees Mrs Hillman appears and disappears, it's frightened her but she still can not figure out what's going on. The next day, Sydney wakes up when nurses clean the bed beside her and said that Mrs. Hillman is passed away last night.
Before leave, Sydney meet Alicia to say goodbye, and her little friend is asking to take picture of both of them. Leaving the hospital, Sydney's vision is getting more and more freightening, she sees things which are unreal. Her doctor, Paul Faulkner (Alessandro Nivola) assured her that what she see isn't real, and it just because Sydney was blind too long so she can not differ what's real and not. Apart from the weird and scary vision, Sydney begins to have nightmare, exactly at 1.06 am, she also see her room is constantly changing. This weird things cause Sydney a paranoia and affects her life. The horror is too much, She begins to watch terrible things around, and Sydney is desperate, she breaks all lamps in her house, covers all the window and wrapped her eyes, locking herself in her apartment for the whole day. Helen which is affraid because Sydney did not pick any of her calls, call Paul, and together with the building manager, he enters Sydney's apartment and pushes Sydney out of her despair. Sydney tells Paul what she sees, but the doctor refuses to believe. One meter away, Sydney sees the woman is lying dead. Sydney walk away as fast as she can and enters a chinesse restaurant. Frightened, she calls her doctor, Paul and tell him where she is. Sydney then calls the waitress but she seem ignores her. Everything around the restaurant felt weird, and suddenly the stove in front of Sydney is burnt and the whole restaurant is burnt down. Paul is coming and find Sydney in a old ruin restaurant, devastated Sydney is pushing Paul to help her to find her eyes donor and to get rid all the horror

Like always, i really need to collect my courage to see the movie he he, horror is really not my type ^_^. So, i choose midday to see the movie, the sun is out there so no reason to be afraid.
I don't know the original korean movie, i kind of like the movie. Moderate creepy ^_^, the ghosts were still frightening but no crazy sounds which will cause you a heart attack. That's one good thing about the movie. The story was quite interesting, though the line was a bit slow. The end is quite unpredictable. One thing i want to complaint is the slow story, and Paul seems an addition character, since without his presence, nothing is affected. His relation with Sydney is rather awkward. One thing for sure, to see this movie is almost the same with seeing Shutter. The same taste ^_^

Synopsis:

Have you ever think, if a crime scene is happening in you place, blood is scattered everywhere and the smell of rotten body is the room odor, would you like to clean it yourself?
Tom Cutler(Samuel L. Jackson), is a police retirement, doing such business. Everytime a crime is occured, he will be there to clean all the crazy mess. One day, he received a job order for a family called Norcut. And like always, Tom is coming with his white van, entering the quiet big house. The client is specifically write down where he put the key and which place should be cleaned.
Tom finds blood splasing and scattered in the living room, stained the white couch and the windows, the table and the floor. A real mess. Tom takes picture everything before starts to clean. Finish with the job, his old friend Eddie Lorenzo (Ed Harris), meet him for a drink nd they are talking about their current life, while Tom is noticing the news, which is showing the missing of a famous businesaman called Norcut. Tom soon there is something wrong with his previous job, when he comes back to the Norcut's to collect a signature as a proof that the job has been done. Ann Norcut (Eva Mendes), the house lady, doesn't seem understand anything. Tom keeps his mouth shut and not even tell a story when Ann finally come to his office to ask what kind of job has Tom done to her house. The case is growing, and Tom's past life begin to haunt him, he face his police buddies and doesn't know who to trust.

Comments:

Samuel L. Jackson definitely awsome playing his part ^_^. The movie is quite nice for a drama movie, but absolutely boring as an action movie. One thing i like, the end is unpredictable, however the story line is just simple. In the movie Tom is said to do some dirty works for his previous boss, and he also in "the list" made by Norcut, where everybody in the list has received money from him, i saw nothing linked to this. Norcut is just missing, and everybody forgets about the list. That's absolutely weird, oh well, what can i say. I don't like the movie verymuch tough it's not worst movie ever. A bit boring but still go ahead if you like to watch ^_^

• As Tom is sitting on the bed thinking of his wife he reaches under the bed for a box and the clock in the background reads 11:40. We then see a close up of Tom smelling her perfume and the clock now reads 11:38.

Synopsis:

Juno Mc Guff (Ellen Page) is 16 years old girl, the kind of girl which love to see old horror movies and doesn't care too much of others saying, one day discovers herself pregnant, fathered with her friend Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera). At first she was thinking about abortion, but then she and her friend, Leah, choose to give the baby for an adoption. Leah encourage Juno to tell her parents about her pregnancy. Instead being hysteric, Juno's father and step mother accept the bad news and keep supporting their daughter. Finding paper ads, Juno then decides to meet the couple. Accompanied with her father, Juno is meeting for the first time with The Lorings, an upper class young couple that desperately want to have a baby. They reach an agreement in a munute and Juno will hand over her baby as soon as it borns. Meanwhile, Juno and Bleeker relationship is not growing, but Juno is angry when Bleeker ask someone else to prom night. The two is quarreled and Juno left. June then finds out that The Lorings are gonna break up, and she feels very upset since she wants a perfect family for her baby. Will Juno change her decision and how is her relationship with Bleeker?

Comments:

Nice drama movie ^_^. Seeing the title i tought Juno was comedy, but i was wrong. A drama that show there are a lot of options around. Which way to choose or how we react is just depend to us. I love to see how supporting Juno's father and step mother Bren to their daughter during the pregnancy, and instead off yelling at Juno, the father accept it very well and he also show his support by accompany his daughter to meet the future foster parents. Juno was also make a good decision by hand over her baby for an adoption rather than have an abortion. The best part is when i saw how supporting Bren (the step mother) and Leah (the friend) while Juno was giving a birth to the baby. It's like not too many people has the privelege experiencing such condition, right? Well, not that i agree of being pregnant at 16 and no husband, but this movie show a better way to solve problems. And i also love when Juno realized that there was someone that love her no matter what, tough the movie does not show in a proper way if there was somebody which head over heel to Juno. The movie is ok, go ahead and watch ^_^

Synopsis:

The incident makes Simon's career drowned, but Duck in the other hand, begin to have an extraordinary live because of his rising career. Five year after, in 2000, while Duck is coming back to Bosnia, Simon is suddenly appears, asking him to team up with him in hunting down a war criminal named Fox, which has been killing thousands of moslems and has granted 5 million dollar for his capture, for an interview. Along with Duck and Benjamin, the network vice president's son, Simon starts to track Fox. Which is very dangerous and hard, since Fox is the most wanted war criminal, and he has so many people protecting. The searching is begin by meeting a UN officer called Boris whom mistaken the three to CIA agents. Soon they realize that none of UN, NATO, or any country, wants to catch Fox for real, there are many hidden intention lo let him run free.

Comments:

Hmmm...at the beginning, i think the movie is very exciting, war reporters..i mean that's sounds like wow! And it was nice at the beginning, but as the story goes i found it a bit boring. They were just talking and talking and talking *_*. Fox was to easy to catch, and to hunt a famous war criminal, the obstacles they faced were just too little. I know i'm just a regular watcher and i don't know exactly which part they said the movie is smart and exciting (hmmm????). But anyway, apart from the weird story, this movie is quite nice and the actors play were nice.
All i can say is this is just different than what i've expected ^_^. For others may be not that bad, but for me, i'll skip.

Fifteen years earlier he met Jack, an antique shop owner, whom told him a story of a Korean legend. Jack (Robert Foster) said in every 500 years, a girl with the great power is born, with her power she is able to change regular imoogi (serpent) to a celestial dragon. She will be recognized with her dragon mark on her left shoulder.
Heaven sent two warrior, Bochum and Harem, to protect the girl from the evil dragon, Buraki. And for human sake, the cycle must fulfilled and Buraki can not have the power otherwise he would destroy mankind. Soon, the choosen girl was born to a upper family called Yoo Yi Joo. Being protected by Harem, no soon they were getting closer and fallen in love. But instead fulfilled Yoo Yi Joo destiny, the couple chose to run away and comitted suicide.
Jack gave the warrior pendant to Ethan and advised him to find Yoo Yi Joo reincarnation, named Sarah. Meanwhile, Sarah Daniels life suddenly changing, she experiences bad dreams and people start to think she is crazy. The evil Buraki shows up in present time, chases after Sarah for her power. Ethan now must repay his past mistake and brings Sarah to her destiny tough it is hard since he is in love for the second time to the choosen girl.

Comments:

Hmmm, seeing the legend, this movie should be fantastic, but somehow i found it a bit boring.
Jason Behr acting is flat and i don't feel any imotion involve, well he supposed to be a man whom protected his lover, right? Amanda Brooks was even better. And on the city scene, where the evil Buraki was attacked by the military force, i felt like watched another Godzilla movie.
Basically, the effect is quite nice, but the story is not strong and Jason Behr is definitely flat.
And the conclusion? Oh well, just watch if you have sooooo many spare time and tooooo much money to spend ^_^

Fun facts:

• On the beach scene, after Ethan rescue Sarah from the hospital, Sarah is dressed in hospital gown and slippers, she slips off her slippers and than walks down the beach. In the long shot she is wearing her slippers and than the next shot is a close up of both of them and in the lower left corner you see her slippers sitting on the beach where she took them off.
• A character (the policeman) incorrectly refers to the US Bank building in downtown LA as the "Liberty" Tower, when in fact the Tower is actually known as the Library Tower.

Synopsis:

The Grace family moving in to a huge and creepy house whose before belong to the mother's, Helen Grace (Mary-Loise Parker), aunt. The Grace siblings find the house is very weird, especially one of the twins, Jared (Freddie Highmore) which is rebellious and has a anger issues.
One night Jared enters his great great uncle study room and finds a sealed book called The Field Guide to Fairies, which has a forbidden to open note. Jared ignores it and open the book. Then he meets a brownie called Thumbletack, whom tell him that the book contains secrets of fairy creatures and will be a a disaster if Mulgarath (Nick Nolte), an evil goblin knows it. He also gives Jared a stone which has a hole and trough the hole, he can see fairy creatures. Jared tries to warn his family of the existance of this creatures, but no body believes him. Until one day Mulgarath's army is kidnapping Simon, Jared's twin brother. In the effort to save his brother, Jared meets Hogsqueal, a pig alike creature that give him the ability to see all fairy creatures without a seeing rock. Jared is able to rescue his brother, Simon insists to give the book to Mulgarath so he will let them in piece, but Jared knows that Mulgarath will kill them anyhow.
The twins run away back to the house, the protection charm around the house saves the twins, but minutes after, their sister, Mallory shows up. The twins yells and asks Mal to stay inside the charm, but she refuses to do it,. The goblins attack Mal and with the help of the magic stone, she is able to see them and fight back. And things get worse when Mulgarath gets some parts of the book and finds out how to break the charm, now the siblings must work together saving their lives even no body is believing.

Comments:
Another family movie which is perfect for this holiday ^_^. You can ask your children to watch and feel no worry. This is pure adventure movie, an imaginary film which is quite entertaining. Not too many family movies in theater nowadays and when i found Spiderwick and Kung Fu Panda, i'm pleased. Well tough i don't have kids to take along, this safe movie is sometimes a good way to relase your stress. Don't miss this ^_^

• Film prints were send to some theaters under the fake title called "Widow".
• When Mallory and Jared are fighting at the beginning, you can see Jared is mouthing Mallory's words.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK

Synopsis:

The film began with fragments of events where Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), starts the gamma radiation project and he become the experiment object. Something has gone wrong and change Banner into furious green giant, he destroys the lab, kills a couple of security and hurt his lover, Dr. Elizabeth Ross (Liv Tyler) and his dad, General Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt). This caused Banner to be a fugitive for years. General Ross is very determined to catch Banner and mobilise his best people to capture Banner, one of them is Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth), which later become Hulk's first opponent.
Having a simple life in crowded Brazillian small city, Banner tries to do anything to surpress his anger. He works in local beer factory and practising hard portugese. Keep on searching oh the cure, he is online with somebody called Mr. Blue, which ask for his blood sample and advice of a flower as a cure which is failed. Soon, General Ross finds him and aims his troops to the city . Banner is edged and turn to mighty Hulk, furiously destroy everything around and try to escape.
Return to civilization, Banner finds out that Elizabeth aka Betty has dating to someone else. His old friend, Stan, a restaurant owner help him by providing food and shelter. Upon leaving, Betty accidently sees him, and shocked. The loving couple soon get back together and try to find the cure and meet Mr. Blue, Banner mysterious online friend, the day after, General Ross finds him and mobilized more troops and many hard weapon to catch Banner. Betty tries to stop her father. Surrounded by armed troops and tears gas, Banner changed into Hulk. The troops shooting and bomming, but none of it affect hulk, he becomes more and more furious. Blonsky which has been shot by gamma in a small dosage, faces Hulk and beat easily. Betty hillariously ask her father to stop and when a helicopter falls down, Hulk protects her and brings her away.
The two are fugitive now, and wherever they run, the general finds them. And the end they have to face Blonsky which turned into horrible creature.

Comments:

Well, now i just realize this movie is a bit more like the previous film at 2003, the point is the same, Banner changed and must avoid General Ross seizure. I think there are many episodes in the comics and also the television, why don't they make it differently? Hmmm...
Ok then, this movie is quite interesting, i like it ^_^. Edward Norton is just perfect for Banner's role, i can't imagine anyone better ^_^. The whole story was dominated by General Ross's effort to chase banner, the duel between Hulk and the monster was quite furious but very short, and at the end he just gave up that easily? This Hulk was very much look like animation, the green television hulk was look even alive (since he was real human ho ho). Apart form that, i think this movie has the same level with Spiderman, quite entertaining ^_^
And to my suprised, they linked Hulk with Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. showed up in the last part, still played as Tony Stark, he he he ^_^. And i bet there will be Hulk 2 and 3, he he there are many unsolved matters there.

• The Incredible Hulk joined Toronto's Green-Screen initiative, to help cut carbon emissions and waste created during filming. Edward Norton had fun using a hybrid vehicle on set.
  
• William Hurt, who play as General Ross and his son are big fans of Hulk
• In the comics, Emil Blonsky was a KGB agent who takes on a scaly reptilian appearance, becoming the Abomination. Louis Leterrier felt that while that was cool, it made no sense considering there was no reptile mix in his origin. So in this film Blonsky's appearance is redefined to have his skin/muscles/bones exaggerated and sticking out all over his body; he however retains pointed ears as a tribute to his original form.
  
• 'Tim Roth' signed on the film because he was a fan of "The Incredible Hulk" (1978), as well as to please his comic-book-fan sons. On set, he constantly asked whether this would "be a cool shot" for his kids to see him in. He thoroughly enjoyed playing Blonsky, but found it difficult since to portray Blonsky's over-the-hill state he could not work out; but he hired a personal trainer to assist him in motion-capturing the Abomination's movements.
• The character of General Ross is incorrectly portrayed as a three-star Lieutenant General instead of a four-start General, yet his name plate still shows "General Ross."

Arrrrrrgggggh!!

After a long wait and anxiety, finally Hulk is in the town!

I've thought it will be a noisy and crowded day in the cinema during the first week, but i never thought i would miss a seat! So annoying, yesterday i was at XXI at 7 pm, and felt uneasy when stepped on 5th floor, so many people, but i kept thinking they will se Kung Fu Panda, hikss guess what i was wrong, they both very popular amongst ticketers, surpraisingly 9.40 pm show was also fully booked, wooooaaaaaa. I never experience such craziness in months. The last crowded film i saw was probably Spiderman 3.

And tonight, i must get a ticket!

SHUTTER

Synopsis:

A newlywed couple Ben (Joshua Jackson) and Jane (Rachael Taylor) is moving to Tokyo for honey moon and to stay due to Ben's job as a photographer. They drive along a quiet road in the middle of the night. Jane is accidently hit a girl while try to see a map, she's frightened but confussed since they can not find the body. The couple then spen their honey moon in a beautiful cabin around Fuji mountain. Pictures taken in the cabin balcony were blured, showing a white foggy shadow. The couple take it lightly at first, but it is changing when Seiko, Ben's assistant, said that they are spirit pictures. Jane starts to see weird things and when she tries to tell her husband, Ben refuses to believe and assured his wife that ghosts are not exist, although he also see weird things. Courious Jane keep search for answer, meanwhile terrors rising, scared both and their friends died one by one. Soon Jane realize that the ghost is called Megumi Tanaka (Megumi Okina) which used had a relationship with his husband, Ben. When she confronted, Ben explain that he was has a relationship with Megumi, a translator, in the same company he works. But since he did not love her, he told Megumi to stay away, but she was totally in love and refuse to stay away and keep shadowing Ben where ever he goes. Jane determines to find out what is really going on, and the more she search, the worse facts she finds.

Comments:

Though Rottontomatoes rate this movie as weird and boring movie, i like this film a lot. Fist because there is no shocking sounds like any other hollywood horrors (and i just realize that americans love that shocking sounds!). Hollywood horrors and shocking sounds or musics are just inseparable, so weird. This movie is just go smoothly, scary, shocking, and has unpredictable ends. But for those who love the shocking sounds and scary scene, this movie might look boring, more over, beside the present of scary Megumi, none other is scary. This is more like horror drama movie, i bet the original movie is way scarier, thai movie. And don't bother to find me one hi hi ^_^

Fun facts:

• On driving scene, it was showed heavy rain but after car crashed, no rain appears and snow piles on street sides.
• When Ben is in the dark room and the ghost touches his neck, which he tought it's his wife, we can see that the arm is cover with dark sweater, and when he got back and realized that it was not his wife, Megumi was not wearing a dark sweater.
• Early in the film, Ben tells Jane that they can't call a friend back in New York because back home it's three a.m., "yesterday." Actually, the time difference between New York and Tokyo is thirteen hours, Tokyo being thirteen hours ahead of New York. So it might have been three a.m. there, but not three o'clock in the morning the previous day.

Synopsis:

The story begin at 1935, where 13 years old Briony (Romola Garai) from an upper class British Family, who has the passion in writing, has accomplished her newest novel, The Trials of Arabella, which she described as a complication of love. However her cousin, Lola, who stay temporarily with her family due to her parents separation, said being difficult with regard to staging the play, much to her frustration. Alone in her bed room, Briony witnesses her sister, Cecilia (Keira Knightly) strips her clothes near the fountain, and dips into the fountain in front of Robbie (James Mc Avoy) their maid's son. She misinterprets this as aggression on Robbie's part when in fact Robbie and Cecilia are in love. Shortly, Robbie send apologize letter to Cecilia and ask Briony to give it to her sister, soon he realize he put the wrong letter of explicit erotically version, that he wrote before. Briony reads the letter and again misinterprets it.
During family dinner, once again Briony sees Cecilia and Robbie making love in the library, the scared girl, misinterpret that it is Robbie's assault to his sister. Briony try to tell everybody during the dinner but her mother tells her to be quiet and she doesn't understand that Cecilia and Robbie hold hands under the table. A letter of goodbye, written by Briony's twin cousins, and make everybody hurry. They spread out to find the twins, accidently, Briony stumble to Lola, whom has been raped by a man with a tuxedo, that run fast due to Briony presence. Tough Lola has said she did not see the raper, Briony is assured that Robbie is the one who rape her.
Robbie is brought to prison, and several years later, he has service the country as a soldier. Before his deployment, he was reunited with Cecilia in London, where they renewed their love, and he made a promise to return to her. Briony is now joining nursing corp like his sister, but she's unable to contact her since Cecilia is blaming Briony to what happen to Robbie. After seeing a newsreel showing members of the Royal Family visiting Paul Marshall's chocolate factory, Briony attends the wedding of Marshall and her cousin Lola. By this time, Briony, who is still attempting to write, has come to understand that she misinterpreted her sister's relationship with Robbie and that she made a disastrous mistake by accusing him. She now knows that the man who was raping Lola on that night was Paul Marshall and that Lola could not admit it. The quilt bound Briony so tight, can she face Robbie and Cecilia, and confess that it was her mistake so the two was separating?

Comments:
A very good movie. The story line is not easy to predict and the end is also not as good as I tought before ^_^. Romola played Briony very well, as a person who carry a guilt burden on her shoulder. The hospital scene is quite touching. A very recommended drama!

• Dunkirk- French which used for the movie background is actually a small city of England called Redcar
• Ramola Garai shoot her scene in 4 days
• Joe Wright had wanted Keira Knightley to play the role of Briony in her late teens, but Knightley immediately liked the character of Cecilia, and also wanted to get away from playing girls on the brink of womanhood and play a more mature character for once.
• Redcar locals served as extras were paid 50 pounds.
  
• The movie set is in 1935, there is a scene where Robbie is daydreaming and the image of a four engined bomber crosses above his head. The plane is a Short's Stirling, which entered service in 1939.
• In the fountain scene, Cecilia pulls her blouse over her head before she steps in the fountain. When she rises from the water and dresses again, the buttons of the blouse are open.
• The bass bugle the nurse is polishing was introduced in the 1960s.

Synopsis :

Po (Jack Black) is a panda from a noodle maker family who dream about being a kung fu hero. And one day his dream is about to come true. Master Oogway (Randall Duke Kim), a wise tortoise from the kung fu temple, is ordering to held a ceremony to choose a dragon warrior. He got a premonition, that the evil tiger Tai Lung (Ian Mc Shane) will escape form prison and attack the village. Master Shifu's (Dustin Hoffman) highly skilled martial students: tigress (Angelina Jolie), viper (lucy Liu), Monkey (Jacky Chan), Mantis (Seth Rogen), and Crane (David Cross) will be choosen. Po, whose dream, to be a kung fu master, try to escape from his obligation to sell noodle and do what ever he can to enter the stadium where the ceremony takes place.
Master Oogway surpraising everybody by choosing Po as a dragon worrior. And Master Shifu, who can't believe non of his primary students choosen, try to convince Oogway that he has made a mistake by choosing clumsy Po. The five students are nevertheless feel the same thing to Po, they just can not understand why a reckless and worthless panda is choosen as a dragon warrior. But Po is very persistent, the other students soon change to like him due to his good sense of humor and good cooking skills.
The evil Tai Lung is escape as predicted, and Po has not ready yet to face him. master Shifu must find a way to train Po, and Oogway left him without any clue but to believe in Po.
Can Po change and fulfill everybody's hope to be the dragon warrior and save them?

First time i saw the thriller, i have put this film in my watching agenda ^_^, and it's worth it! A very nice cartoon movie, with cute pictures and alive characters. And so many stars playing in the movie! I like it, and this is a perfect movie to see with the whole family. Funny, funny, and funny ^_^

• The furious five (tigress, mantis, viper, monkey, and crane) are actually martial art style modelled after the animals.
  
• Shifu means teacher or master in chinesse.
• Production designer Raymond Zibach and art director Tang Heng spent years researching Chinese painting, sculpture, architecture and kung fu movies to help create the look of the film.
